BROW REHAB AT-HOME ROUTINE

  • Exfoliate brows 3x a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with a silicone exfoliator (or spoolie) and a foaming shampoo. Using light pressure with your tool, rub the bristles back and forth over the brows in circular motions until thoroughly cleansed. Rinse and pat dry.

  • Nightly, using a facial oil or moisturizer to lubricate, massage the brow area for 1-3 minutes until the skin turns pink/red. This stimulates blood flow to the hair follicle and surrounding tissue.

  • If struggling with coarse, curly, or unmanageable brows, apply hair conditioner (using a spoolie or cotton bud) 3-4x weekly for 10-20 minutes or overnight. Cover with plastic wrap for more effective absorption and rinse with warm water.

PRO TIPS:

  • Resist the urge to tweeze and trim at home. I have a design in mind for you and need every hair!

  • Eyebrow hair needs to be hydrated and moisturized after washing just like the hair growing from our scalp. I recommend applying a leave-in brow hydrator daily, day or night (check out the product list on this page).

  • Product buildup, oil, dead skin cells, pollution, smoke, and much more attaches itself to hair and can compact down into the hair follicle over time. This creates a waxy plug, leading to premature hair loss, thinning, and delayed growth. Proper exfoliation will restore a healthy growth cycle.

  • Invest in red light therapy and electrocurrent devices to stimulate hair growth.

  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments in the brow may be effective for certain clients. This needs to be performed by a medical professional.

TINT AFTERCARE

  • Keep newly tinted brows and/or lashes dry (away from water and humidity) for at least 24 hours post-treatment.

  • Limit the use of strong cleansers and exfoliants on tinted hair: frequent exposure to surfactants, soap, makeup remover & wipes, micellar water, etc., will prematurely fade color.

  • Due to smaller molecular size, dark tints last longest. If you have received a blonde or light brown tint, you will need more frequent applications to keep your color looking fresh.

  • Hydrated hair retains color better! Invest in a brow or lash conditioner for best results.

  • Clients should expect results to last anywhere from 4-12 weeks depending on color, hair type, and aftercare.

BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE

  • After initial treatment, keep brows and/or lashes dry and away from humidity for 36-48 hours. Exposure to humidity during this time can cause frizzing and underwhelming permanent results.

  • To prevent denting, do not sleep on or apply makeup to brows for 36-48 hours post-treatment.

  • Avoid all active skincare ingredients and self-tanning products for 48 hours post-treatment.

  • After 48 hours, treated brow hair may be washed and brushed normally. Laminated brows should be brushed into place when wet and left to dry in their desired position. Remember the phrase: "WET TO SET". Unbrushed laminated brows will dry in an uneven pattern and need to be brushed daily to keep their new shape. If desired, add brow color or clear gel.

  • Hair conditioner (from your shower) should be applied on clean, damp brows 3-4x weekly for 5 minutes and wiped clean with a damp cloth. If possible, use a hair treatment 1x weekly for 10 minutes using the same method. Failure to do this post-treatment routine may result in dry hair and breakage.

  • Clients with healthy brows hair may rebook their lamination treatments every 8-10 weeks.

LASH LIFT AFTERCARE

  • After initial treatment, keep lashes away from humidity for 36-48 hours. Exposure to humidity during this time can cause frizzing and underwhelming permanent results.

  • To prevent denting, do not sleep on or apply makeup lashes for 36-48 hours post-treatment.

  • After 48 hours, treated hair may be washed and brushed normally. Permed lashes must be brushed into place when wet and left to dry in their desired position. Remember: "WET TO SET". Unbrushed permed eyelashes will dry in an uneven pattern and need to be brushed daily to keep their new shape. If desired, add a hydrating mascara.

  • Lash perm clients are strongly encouraged to purchase and use an eyelash conditioner from the list above to use post-treatment. Using a daily conditioner (different from a growth serum) will keep lashes strong, healthy, and prevent breakage.

  • Clients with healthy eyelashes may rebook their lash lifts every 8 weeks.
